Mr Sean Davy Appointed as Senior Chaplain for 2020

Sean Davy has been Housemaster of Snell House since January 2019. He grew up in Chiredzi and went to Peterhouse as a young boy. After Peterhouse he received an ATS Chisz Bursary to study teaching at Rhodes University. It was there he met Alanna and was married a year after he graduated and started his teaching career in Harare. He taught at Eaglesvale, Gateway and after doing a year of teaching a home-schooling curriculum went to South Africa where he taught in various schools, finishing up at a small Christian School in East London called Abbotsford where he was one of the deputies.
He then felt that it was time to move back to Zimbabwe, and returned to teach English at Peterhouse at the start of 2017 moving back with his wife and three daughters. Alanna is a music teacher, and their three daughters are all enrolled at Peterhouse Girl's School
Sean coaches rowing in the summer and rugby in the winter and enjoys reading and playing various musical instruments – his favourite being the bagpipes.
