Translocations in Gosho Park June 2017

On Friday last week two blesbok males were moved from Imire Game Park into Gosho Park to join an existing female herd - hopefully we will have some young ones later in the year.

Huge thanks go to Imire for this donation. We are also hoping to receive a male giraffe soon, the papers are in order, but it is not an easy animal to transport!

In early April some wildebeest and Impala were captured from Gosho Park and have been moved to the DRC to stock a new game area. This was a very slick and professional operation and we may well have a market for more impala in the future.

Kidzcan 2017

This year’s Kidzcan event took place at Peterhouse Boys and Calderwood Park, fundraising to help children with cancer.

Kidzcan helps children and families affected by cancer throughout Zimbabwe and provides a number of services including clinical care, case management, chemotherapy and drugs, blood and blood products, CT and MRS scans. They also offer supportive services such as prosthetics, admission and discharge packs, Early Detection and Awareness Campaigns and counselling.

Well done to all those who completed the 5km walk or the 10 km run - especially to the Springvale House and Ruzawi pupils who ran the 10km course.

Marondera Rugby Hockey Fixtures 17/5/2017

Dear Supporters, there are no team lists posted for todays practice fixtures for the Marondera Schools.

Today’s matches are for coaches to swop players positions, move player around from team to team and to plan in a game situation for the upcoming season.
You are welcome to support, but please note that today’s fixtures are very short and more of a practice than a match.

Team lists for the weekend will be decided today and posted tomorrow morning.
